Internet Engineering Curriculum. The
Internet Engineering Curriculum Repository (IEC) is a project of CAIDA
(Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis) in conjunction with
NLANR (National Laboratory for Applied
Network Research) to help educators and others interested in Internet
technology keep up with developments in the field. NLANR
Packets offers timely updates concerning high-performance networking
issues. Of particular usefullness is the Glossary
collection to help decipher the maze of acronyms and concepts within these
new network developments.

With respect to fostering the engagement of underrepresented groups
in science and engineering, the Division of Atmospheric Sciences in
cooperation with UCAR launched a program call SOARS several years ago.
The success of this program has brought in funding from other agencies,
e.g. NASA and NOAA.
