Great. Although maybe you could say "your answer" rather than "your response."

Answer(or question to Mentor): Hi, The answer to problem A. is 3.75ft, because I knew I started with 5ft, then I knew in 2002 the storm surge covered 3/4ths or 75% of 5ft so I multiplied 5ft x 75%. Which gave me 3.75ft. The answer to problem B. was 1.25ft, because to get that I subtracted 3.75 from 5 and that equaled 1.25ft.

Answer(or question to Mentor): Hi, Here is the answer to the first part is 33 over 200 or 16.5%. I got that answer by first multipling 14 times 9 wich was 126 then 36 times 4 144 then 15 times 4 60. then i added them up and got 330 then I knew there was 2,000 Calories a day so it was 330 over 2000. then i simplafied and got 33 over 200 calories. This is the answer to the second part,it is 14 over 65 or 21.5% g of fat becuase I knew there where 14 grams of fat so I added the protein, carbohydrates and the fat together and got 65 wich gave me 14 over 65 g of fat.

Great job explaining how you solved the problem. You got the correct answers of 16.5% for part 1 and 21.5% for part 2. I think that you should try the challenge problem. I look forward to your response.
