Answer(or question to Mentor): In this problem first I figured that if one gram of fat equals 9 calories and there are 14 grams of fat, so that means there are 126 calories of fat, also 1 gram of carbohydrate has 4 calories so that means if there are 36 grams of carbohydrates that equals 144 calories, Finally one gram of protein has 4 calories so if there were 15 grams of protein then there are 60 calories of protein. So a cheeseburger has 326 calories. If the recommended daily allowance for calories is 2000 calories a day what percent of her daily intake has she indigested? The answer is 16.3 percent because I divided 326 into 2000 and multiplied by 100. The percentage of fat in the cheeseburger is 38.7 Percent

Mentor Reply: Hello Shareef!
Thank you for submitting your solutions. Your answers to both of the questions are incorrect. I think you just had a computational error. There are 126 calories of fat, 144 calories of carbohydrates, and 60 calories of proteins in a cheeseburger. So can you calculate again to find out what the total amount of calories is in a cheeseburger? Because the total amount of calories in a cheeseburger is not 326.
After finding out the total amount of calories a cheeseburger has, then you can use this answer and follow the steps that you have previously done.
If you need any help just ask me. I look forward to reading your revision and your solutions to the challenge problem.
