I appologize..I've already typed in two submissions but they did not show up some how and got erased so here they are again.

The first part is a question. I just can't seem to figure out how to find out the 2nd part of the main question.
***
The second part is an answer to the 1st part of the main problem. The answer is 16.5%. I found that out mby first multiplying 14 by 9. I got 126, the number of calories in the part of the cheeseburger that was fat. Then I multiplied 36 by 4 and got 144, the number of calories in the part that was carbohydrate. Next I multiplied 15 by 4 to get 60, which is the number of calories in the part that was protein. Next I added 126, 144, and 6 to get 330, the number of calories in the whole cheeseburger. Next I divided 2000, the RDA's reccomendation, by 330, how many calories that there were. I got 6 and 20/330. I then simplified that and 16.5%. So she had eaten 16.5% of her daily ammount of calories.
I hope this was clear and I am sorry for my other 2 posts not showing up. I hope this helped. Thank you.

Mentor Reply: Hi Abby, thank you for submitting your response. Your answer to the first question of 330 calories is correct.
Your to the second queation of 16.5% is correct. Can you please explain why you divided 2000 by 330? How does 6 reamainder 20/330 equal 16.5%? Please check your calcualtions.
I am looking forward to reading your response.

Instructor Comments: Lillian,
The ideas in this response are very good. However, you have two typos (queation and reamainder ), and you are missing a word ('answer' I think)in the sentence that states, 'Your to the second queation of 16.5% is correct' Finally, please encourage her to do the second problem and the challenge. -Dr. Bowers
