Thank you for submitting your answer. The answers you reached were incorrect, and I was a little unclear as to how you came to your answer. Perhaps you could look at the total amount of calories in each nutrirional categeory. If you do this first, it will help you to answer the question that follows. In the first question, you will add the total amount of calories together. In the second, you will look at the grams for each category. Remember that when it asks for a fraction, it is a number over a number. Also, the second answer you submitted should be a percent or a fraction as well. I look forward to veiwing your responses with explanations so that I can see exactly how you came to get the answers. Good luck on the problem Whitney.

Instructor Comments: Gretchen,
Good job--this must have been very difficult to write! A few comments:
1. When you say, 'Remember that when it asks for a fraction, it is a number over a number.'-- why not be more specific: Remember that when it asks for a fraction, it is a comparison of one quantity (in this case the calories of a cheeseburger) divided by a second quantity (in this case the number of calories recommended fro 1 person to eat each day).
2. You have a spelling error: veiwing (i before e except after c).
