I divided 5 into 32 and got 6 2/5. The lightning bolt is 6 miles and 2/5. I did not know really why I divided I first multiplied and then I divided and the division is more reasonable. 6 and 2/5 miles ahead of thunder!

Mentor Reply: Hi Jaime: My name is Tina. It looks to me like you got the answer right, but I would like you to tell me why you divided 5 into 32. Maybe think about why division works and not multiplication. As for the challenge problem, first think about converting each of the mentioned problems into seconds. For instance there are 60 seconds in a minute, and 60 minutes in an hour. Be sure to get back to me and good luck! ~Tina
