Answer(or question to Mentor): I think the answer is 6.2 miles; I divided because I knew not to add, subtract, multiply so I just divided 5 into 32 and that gave me 6.2 miles. I knew not to multiply, because that would give me 160 miles which would be way off. If I subtract that would give me 27 which is still wrong. And if I added that would give me more than the answer that a subtracted to, so if I think that subtracting is wrong than addition is probably not any better.

Mentor Reply: Hi Sarah: My name is Tina. Good job on the current problem. The procedure you used to solve this problem was correct, but how did you know to divide? Also, when there is 2 left of something, should it become a fraction of that something, or become a decimal? You are on the right track, but think about what I said. Did you try the challenge problem? Good Luck! ~ Tina

Answer(or question to Mentor): Hi Tina, thank you for the complement you gave me, it really made my day because, I am not that good in math. I have a question what did you mean by if there is 2 left of something I should always make it into a fraction or a decimal. I just don't get it. About the challenge problems, I have taken a look at the challenge and I have no idea what to do, I have tried working the problems but to me the answers just don't come out right. I do not understand the problem at all, but I will take one more look at it to see if I understand it better than yesterday. I just took a look at still I do not understand.
