Answer(or question to Mentor): I think the answer is 6.4 miles. I got this by dividing 5 into 32. 5 multiplied by 6 is 30, and you have 2 left over. You add a demical after the 6. Then you add a 0 which makes 20. 5 multiplied by 4 is 20. I divided because I knew that every 5 seconds for the sound of thunder to travel 1 mile. I needed to see how far away the lightning is if 32 seconds pass between each flash of lightning. So I divided.
