Answer(or question to Mentor): This is Sam talking here and I am telling the answer to the problem that I had. The answer is….. 6.4ft. I knew this because what I did was I said how many times will 5 go into 32,he reason I did that was because there re five seconds per mile after thunder strikes and they are asking if there were 32 seconds how many miles would that be? The answer was 6.2 and I made it into a decimal which gave me the answer.

Really good effort here. I see that you knew that you needed to divide here, but I am a little confused on the last sentence of your response about the 6.2 and making it into a decimal. Also, check the label on your answer of 6.4ft. Are we working with feet or miles?
Great effort,

Instructor Comments: Abigail,
Very good to catch the incorrect label. I would be direct and say "Your numerical answer of 6.4 is correct, but your units are not correct, please recheck what the 6.4 stands for and resubmit an answer." I like the way that you challenge him on the 6.2. Finally, encourage him to do the challenge problem since he got this one correct.
