The
EdCenter Fall 2001 Faculty Fellows Gave Their End-of-Semester
Presentations
The ECCSE
Faculty Fellows and the Chairs and Deans from their respective
departments and colleges gathered at the EdCenter December 19,
2001 to make their end-of-semester project presentations. "This
semester's presentations demonstrated a significant amount of
overlap and common interests among faculty from different disciplines",
explains ECCSE Director Kris Stewart.

In
addition to the EdCenter Team and the Fellows themselves, we were
honored to have in attendance Dean Tom Scott from the College
of Sciences, Dean Skip Meno from the College of Education, Chair
Ed Aguado from the College of Arts and Letters Dept. of Geography,
and Cathie Atkins-Kaplan, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies
in the College of Sciences. Cassie Ferguson also joined us from
the NPACI San Diego Supercomputing Center.

Professor Eric
Frost from the Department of Geological Sciences describes his experiences
as an ECCSE Fellow this past semester to those in attendance.

The Department
of Education Technology had a good presence with Profs. Bober, Hoffman, and
Ritchie joining us. The ECCSE is proud to finally include faculty from the
College of Education in its Fellows program.
